Gigatrends / Homo Technicus
The Homo Technicus Decade 2020-2030, is a trend forecasting project conducted in April 2020. A new “technological era” is already in the works and a new kind of human arises. Homo Techniqus will reshape society’s structures and address new patterns of production and consumption as a response to the imminent climate crisis, which is one of the biggest challenges humanity has to overcome in order to survive. Where would we live, how will we work, how will we commute? How will technological improvements reshape medicine and fashion? How close are we to mainstream wearable technology?
