The Indigitals, is a trend forecasting project conducted in February 2021. In the dawn of the meta-technological era the world is rushing to conquer new digital lands whilst erasing space/time/identity barriers. The closer we get to an ultra-connected universe with “indigitals”, the greater the need for acknowledgment, reclaiming and visibility of the indigenous people that were buried in historic silence. The further we go into the digital world, the urge to connect with the Earth becomes more vital, more primitive. Could indigenous practices and wisdom combined with new technology become the guide for our species survival?
